On September 25, 2025, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Capital Car Group. Both parties will advance electric vehicle transformation in passenger transportation, car rental, automotive services, and automotive energy supply sectors, collaborating on after-sales services, waste battery recycling, and charging and battery swapping infrastructure deployment. This partnership aims to accelerate the creation of a “new model” for new energy transformation in mobility services, supporting China’s national “dual carbon” goals.
Gao Jie, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Capital Car Group, and Meng Xiangfeng, First Party Secretary and Vice President of CATL, attended the signing ceremony. Ma Junfeng, Vice General Manager of Capital Car Group, and Liu Yi, Director of Government and Public Affairs and Beijing Office Director of CATL, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies.
As a comprehensive automotive mobility service provider, Capital Car Group operates a large-scale vehicle fleet with diverse mobility service scenarios and mature premium service experience. This signing marks that Capital Car Group and its mobility industry subsidiaries centered on “Capital Car Hailing, Capital Car Rental, and Capital Car Smart Travel” have selected CATL as their preferred brand for new energy power batteries in the mobility industry.
