Kia America has announced pricing for the 2023 Niro EV, the second-generation crossover EV. Offered in two trim levels, the 2023 Niro EV starts at $39,450 and is expected to arrive at Kia retailers this month. The 2023 Niro EV will be available across all 50 states.
The two trim levels, titled ‘Niro EV Wind’ and ‘Niro EV Wave’ start at $39,450 and $44,450, respectively. Both trim levels are powered by a 64.8 kWh battery and a 150kW drive with DC fast-charging capability as standard. The Niro EV is rated at an EPA-estimated 253 miles of range. When using a Level 3 fast charger, the Niro EV can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in under 45 minutes, at a maximum charging capability of 85 kW.
In January, when the model was presented, technical specifications had been announced for the hybrid version of the Niro, however, the data for the BEV version had not been revealed. When the UK prices and specifications were announced in April, four different trim levels were available, with prices vaguely corresponding to the bottom and top offer available in the USA as well.
