Ev-volumes expects the general light vehicle market to decrease from 17 million (originally forecasted for 2020) to 14,6 million (-14,5%) because of the Covid-19 lockdown effect.
However, “we expect the EV market to grow by 67% to 977,000 units, if the lockdown only lasts 2 months. EV=BEV+PHEV”, says Viktor Irle, Market analyst and co-founder.
