EMUS, a high-tech manufacturing company that produces battery management systems for Lithium-ion battery packs, has established a sales and customer support operations center in Greenville (South Caroline).
The Lithuania-based company was established in 2010, and they specialize in lithium battery management systems for the fast-growing e-mobility, robotics, energy storages and other industries where lithium batteries are used.
The company is a scale-up born out of a hobby in 2010, when when the co-founder & CEO Mr. Mindaugas Milasauskas was the first in his country to convert an internal combustion engine car into electric vehicle and register it for street-legal driving. Today, the company has more than 10 years of experience developing hardware design and proprietary software algorithms. EMUS BMS systems are famous for scalability & modularity, simplicity to operate, developed with advanced technologies and available customization to client’s battery system’s requirements.
The Greenville presence marks the first foreign office for the company, which serves customers across the globe and provides solutions for integrators, battery packs assemblers and OEM companies. The company chose to come to the U.S. to capitalize on the growing e-mobility, robotics, energy storage, and maritime industry markets in North America and to provide more immediate support for its existing customer base.
EMUS is also working in battery management systems innovation, conducting applied academic research with the Kaunas University of Technology from Lithuania. The company and a team of data scientists are working to develop advanced machine-based learning algorithms to improve battery-cell life span and provide customer insights for better battery system utilization.
